Changing landscape of healthcare with Artificial Intelligence, robotics, technovations

Today has been wonderful, educative, informative and exhilarating experience. On the invitation of Amity University, I participated as a moderator with very esteemed panelists, Dr Tejinder Kataria, Chair radiation Oncology, Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon; Dr Shakti A Goel, Spine surgeon Indian Spinal Injury center, New Delhi; Dr Amit Gupta, Diabetologist and Director, Promhex Hospital, Gurgaon and Mr Ashish, Vice President Healthcare at Home India Pvt Ltd.

The topic for panel discussion was “ Use of Artificial Intelligence, techno innovations, robotics in healthcare. The interesting discussions went on fields of diabetes, cancer, spinal injuries,  robotic surgery, home care and remote health care. Many interesting points made by panelists included -current care being actually ‘sick-care’ and not real ‘healthcare’; healthcare going to home, cost, efficacy and accuracy of robotics and AI, ethical and legal issues, potential benefits on large scale use, and man vs machine in emotional aspects of healthcare.

In my first visit I realized the very vast and impressive   educational infrastructure of Amity university. The interaction with their faculty and senior management was very enlightening and stimulating.

Thank you, panelists, for wonderful contribution, and Amity team especially Nishank and Shruti for the invite and coordination.
